在小学的所有阶段里，我的成绩一直是班里前几。但是却从来没有得到过年级第一。我所在的班级是一个平均分极高，没有差生的班级。这里的差生指：六十分以下的学生。但是我们的班级同时也没有尖子生，就我们班级第一张锦林还勉强算的上是尖子生。她每天都在教室里努力学习，从来不会出去玩。每当我看见她努力的身影，总会想，如果我这么努力，早考上年级第一了。这种想法一直都存在，但是我从来没有想过我为什么不这么努力。在六年级上册期末考试成绩发下来的时候，我迎来了我一生中很重要的一次班会。老师站在讲台上告诉我们：这次大家的成绩都考到了我对你们的理想范围，喜欢下次继续努力。明明是从小对我说到大的一句很官方式的话，但我这次却听出了不同，我这次成绩在全班排第九，本来还是一个不错的名次的，可我这次却有了不一样的感受，因为我所在的班级没有尖子生!所以这个名次在年级已经很低了，但是老师却觉得这就该是我的成绩。

于是，在这个寒假，我想清楚了。我要在六年级下册的月考中检验自己，如果真的像班级第一张锦林那样努力，我会考多少。我不敢对自己保证能考多少。努力过就够了我这样想着。我想要年级第一，如果我得到了第一，那就说明我真的有潜力，反之，我没有考到理想成绩也不能灰心，因为不能放弃。我觉得我努力一下，再努力一下，我可以。
